In honor of the last summer exodus on Labor Day... here's this week's pertinent question:
Would you rather... have sand in your shorts or water in your ear?

water in the ear. Eventually you'll get it out... that sand stays forever!!

definitely water in my ear...while somewhat annoying you can deal with it...and i've yet to have it last longer than say 15 min...sand in the shorts...only a full on shower and load of laundry takes care of that one
absolutely sand in my shorts. water in the ear is just annoying and you can get that from almost anywhere...the pool, the shower. sand in your shorts is a reminder of time spent in heaven. :)
Hands down, sand in the shorts. Water in my ear makes me so claustrophobic and is sure to drive me completely batty. Sand in shorts is just part of the beach experience. And having grown up on the beach, it's more fond memories than anything...

sand! it washes off easier. the ear thing can last forever!
I say, water in your ear. Once it's out, it's over with. Sand in the shorts can do some serious chafing. And that is no fun!
