ThE UnGoLdEn TrUtH

Answer me this, when is silence golden?

When you love someone, but do not say, is that golden?
If you see injustice but remain silent, is that golden?
If nature is void of the bustle of animals or the rushing of water, is that golden?

If you cannot speak your mind, how is that golden?
If you're in a room full of people
but too scared to be yourself, how is that golden?

Or if you withhold praise from another, is that golden?
If you find silence at home, but it's because your children aren't laughing,
is that really golden?

If you seek tranquility through silence, perhaps a place to arrange your thoughts
or a place void of fear, that is called peace.
Peace is golden, and it has nothing to do with silence.

That was intense. Nothing like the silence/peace of a sleeping baby! which allows me to blog!
