I have received a several texts/ phone calls from people wanting to send flowers (or, if you've ever wanted to play a joke on my dad, some girly stuffed animal). The ICU doesn't allow anything in the room, but if you'd like to send them to my mom at our hotel I am sure she'd appreciate the thought and a little bit of color in the room... as well as the nice smell (we've febreezed the entire ICU waiting room, it stinks!)
