I've decided that the word for today is, "disturbing". Within my office there is a supply area where you can get envelopes, binders, pens, highlighters, staplers etc., that you would need to make your work life more organized and therefore more efficient--nothing special about that.

However, what I do find special is something I discovered when I went in the supply area today. I was in need of a folder for my 2011-2012 fiscal year invoices and went digging around for a usable folder. Amidst the box of "recycled" folders I saw something...

A familiar word caught my eye
so I I went in for closer inspection...

Uh, YUP I found a folder with my name on it!
Someone in the office has been keeping a file on me
and either they decided to stop or they just needed a bigger folder!

I mean I get that HR might keep a file on all employees. But for the love, can you take my name off when you're done with it??? Oh, and the creep factor comes in when our HR person told me it wasn't their folder. Hmm. I still can't make sense of it, but I'm slightly disturbed.
