If you go to NYC before school gets out, it's only right you go before it starts. MK wanted to get out of town while we could, so we headed up to our favorite city. Sadly, along the way a truck tire blew and hit my car... my brand new car. We had to pull off the side of the road, get it fixed and thus, didn't get to NYC until much later than expected. But, we got a good nights sleep then spent the morning finding a Mazda dealer that could fix my car for the drive home. Upside? I now know where every Mazda dealer is in Manhattan!
We dropped off my car then took a taxi to meet his cousin Mickey and his new wife for brunch. After a nice long nosh session then headed back uptown to retrieve my car and head back to the hotel. He then introduced me to the AMAZING Turkish Kitchen. On our way, we ran into non other than my friend Rob! He ended up coming with us for dinner so we could catch-up, then MK and I ran to Evita, which was amazing! On Sunday, MK and i wandered over to chelsea marketfor our usual breakfast and wandered. We bought some honey, bread, I of course went into Anthropologie and we enjoyed the sites. We even made a last minute trip to The Strand before making the trek home. Why is it always so hard to say goodbye to NYC?
